DAY 3 : After enjoying your breakfast you depart towards Kalambaka via Central Greece. Kalambaka is a small town built at the foot of Meteora rocks complex. You will check in your hotel and then you will visit two of the many beautiful monasteries that are hanging from the rocks like nests. Your guide will explain all about Byzantine artwork and the culture of Orthodoxy. In the end of the tour, at the best viewpoint, you will watch the famous breathtaking sunset of Meteora, that is once in a lifetime experience.
You will then return to your hotel for a relaxing evening.
DAY 4 : Next morning you depart for Delphi, driving through a beautiful scenery. Arriving to Delphi area you will check in your hotel and then your driver will take you to the picturesque mountainous village of Arahova to stroll around and relax. In the afternoon, after your meal,you will visit the archaeological site of Delphi, known in antiquity as “the navel of the world”.
Your guide will revive the fascinating past of this place through myths and knowledgeable information. Grand monuments as the Temple of Apollo, the Theatre of Delphi and the Athens Treasury, Castalia Pigi and the dome of Athena Pronaia, will fascinate you. At the magnificent Delphi Archaeological Museum, you will admire statues and artifacts from the surrounding sites and even findings dated back to the Neolithic Age (4000 BC)

DAY 5 : Your day starts with your drive towards Peloponnese to Ancient Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games. You will check in to your hotel and in the afternoon, you will meet your guide and tour the impressive site and the museum. You will visit the stadium, where the Olympic Games were held. Also the Temple of Zeus, with the 13.5 meters high golden statue of the god, one of the seven wonders of ancient world. The outstanding findings exhibited in the archaeological museum of Olympia, will amaze you, starting with the exquisite Hermes of Praxiteles. Touring around the area you will see buildings and temples that depict the beauty, harmony and balance of ancient Greek art. Before your return to your hotel you can enjoy a meal at the near by restaurants.
DAY 6 : After your breakfast, you will check out and drive to Nafplion. You will first visit Mycenae, the place where one of the most brilliant cultures of Greek prehistory developed, the Mycenaean Civilization. The fortification of the Acropolis with the famous Cyclopean Walls, the Gate of Lions, the monumental entrance to the palaces and the mythical vaulted tomb of Atreus, are just some of the outstanding attractions of the area. In the end you will visit a famous Greek winery, for some wine tasting and a meal. Nemea is one of the biggest wine zones in Greece. You will have the chance to indulge into the culture of wine making and taste some high quality local wines. Driving through the Argolic plain, you will end your day trip to Nafplion, the most romantic city of Greece. You will check in your hotel, relax and stroll around the beautiful city.
DAY 7 : This morning, your driver will pick you up and head to Epidavros where you will meet your guide. You will visit the ancient theater, one of the most famous archaeological monuments in Greece. The place has been dedicated to deities with healing abilities since prehistoric times. Around 800 BC a sanctuary dedicated to the god Apollo was founded and then in the 6th century BC. a little further on, the sacred Asclepion was built, in honor of Asclepius, the protector of health. At the end of the Classical Age (330 BC) the ancient theater was also built, the most perfect and famous ancient Greek theater, which combines elegance with perfect acoustics. It had a capacity of about 150,000 spectators and its harmony is due to its unique design. In 1988, the theater was included, along with the entire Asklepiion, on the Unesco World Heritage List. You will then return to Nafplion and relax with a leisurely walking tour around the cobbled streets of the old town. Your tour leader will revive the long history of this magnificent castle town and chat about Venetian architecture and culture of the place. The rest of the evening is free to relax.
