This tour begins at our meeting point in Nafplion, where we will travel through the orange groves of the Argolic plain and arrive at modern beekeeping facilities.
First you will visit the museum, with the very interesting exhibits. Your host will explain how the beekeeping procedure evolved through the centuries. You will learn about the history of beekeeping beginning in ancient times, the tools and the way of harvesting from the hives. Through a glass beehive you will observe the structure of the bee society.
Wearing the special beekeeping uniforms, you will have a unique tour in the fragrant bee gardens with beehives and learn how they feed and produce honey.
In the end you will enjoy a very educationg tasting of various varieties of organic hoeny and other bee products.
