Hiking Vytina - Elati
Overview
One of the finest and easiest hiking trails of Mount Mainalo, suitable for all types of travellers and families.
Hiking starts at Vytina, at an altitude of about 1000 meters, which is one of the most beautiful mountain towns in the country. The route continues alongside the Milaon River and its ravine. On our way we will have the chance to see the old watermill of Kokoros, a wooden bridge and the stone bridge of Zazios.
Our hiking ends just outside Elati, where in an idyllic setting we will find the church of Zoodochos Pigi, built in a plan of Byzantine architecture.
